| Crafts Alive is presented over 2 weeks - Thursday 26 March & Saturday 28 March, and again on Thursday 02 April & Easter Saturday 04 April from 9am to 3pm each day. Entrance is free of charge, so come and enjoy the last days of summer with us in the market. There is always an abundance of delicious food at our coffee shops or to eat on the go. |

Our crafters will be at work demonstrating and exhibiting their arts and crafts. These include metal forging, a potter’s wheel, wool spinning, machine leatherwork, glass bead making, wood & stone sculpturing, 3-D card making, jewellery repair & polishing and much more. They will welcome discussing with you the processes used, their choice of materials and designs, and to offer you handy tips on DIY projects.

A full programme of Children’s Crafting Activities includes candle making, sand art, T-shirt painting, ceramic painting, sand art, wool felting, bead & wire work, wood craft, clay Easter egg sculpturing, and crafted Easter gifts. Prices for the activities range from R25 upwards. Plenty to keep the children busy while you interact with our artists and crafters, or watch the market activities from a shady bench. |
